Berlin. Die Tokio Hotel-Zwillinge Bill und Tom Kaulitz (21) engagieren sich für Tiere. Mit der neuen Kampagne wollen sie Aufmerksamkeit erregen. Angekettet an einen Pfosten und blutverschmiert posieren die beiden Musiker auf einem Plakat der Tierrechtsorganisation Peta neben dem Slogan „Sklaven der Unterhaltungsbranche: Wildtiere raus aus dem Zirkus!“. Das Motiv soll in Europa, Asien und den USA zu sehen sein, hieß es am Dienstag. „Man muss sich nur mal vorstellen, dass Tiere ihr Leben lang so gehalten werden!“, sagte Bill Kaulitz, der Sänger der international erfolgreichen Magdeburger Rockband Tokio Hotel laut Peta. „Zirkus mit Tierdarbietungen muss verboten werden, es gibt genügend spannende Alternativen!“

"People should imagine, that animals are kept this way for an entire life" said Bill Kaulitz, singer of the internationally succesful Magdeburger Rockband Tokio Hotel according to peta. "Circus with animalshows should be forbidden, there are enough other thrilling options".
