Through the night with.... Bill kaulitz and Wolfgang Joop.

Paparazzi, screaming fans and in the middle of it, at first glance, 2 completely different Stars: The "Tokio Hotel" frontman and the fashion designer, who both count to Germany's most succesful exports,
They have never met before but get along with eachother right from the start.
The evening spent together starts in the showroom of Wolfgang Joops label "wunderkind", where Bill Kaulitz willingly tries on clothes from Joops collection right away.
Kaulitz admits, he would love to design a collection of his own, is amazed by the new ideas of Joop.
After this they go to the top of the Eiffeltower. Bill Kaulitz has already performed in front of the Parisian landmark with "Tokio Hotel" in front of half a million people, but has never been to the top of the tower untill tonight.
A visit to the Palace Beauharnais follows.
This is where you will find the German ambassy, where Wagner and Bismarck have resided.
Joop and Kaulitz express that they are really touched by the napoleonistic empire style.
In Café de Flore they talk about serious themes, like the curse of the internet and the growing shortage of respect for art and culture.
Bill tells that from the last Tokio Hotel album a big part of the songs were already leaked to the internet.
No wonder that the anticipation for new records/albums has generally dropped.
Before they go on, Joop quickly takes paper and pencil to draw a portrait of the singer.
Eventhough Bill has been happy that this trip to Paris was unannounced to avoid all the usual hype, it has not helped. when they leave the Café de Flore, they have resourceful paparazzis waiting for them.
Also the fans have taken notice of this visit, they plaster the internet with pictures of Kaulitz and Joop during their nightly walk and even bring twitter to a halt.
On the Pont des Arts Joop and Kaulitz quickly agree: paparazzo must be a terrible profession.
Finally the night ends at a Fashion-Masked ball, which reminds of the Kubrick film: "Eyes Wide Shut", where the two nighthawks forget the time..
The next morning they meet again at the "Wunderkind" Fashion show.
They exchanged telephone numbers, would like to see eachother again and think, according to Wolfgang Joop, that they are twins ,seperated at birth.

"Through the night" as a big show.
But it also is about the fear of growing old, the constant reinventing of yourself and having to look good all the time.
Bill Kaulitz and Wolfgang Joop are two perfectionists, who are aware that they are controlfreaks, and who have to recognize once again this night, how they have to try to control it.

The recording of the new episode of the Arte-series "Through the Night with", caused a riot in Paris.
Eventhough Liza Minelli and Fritz Wepper caused a crowd at Times Square, what happened when popstar Bill Kaulitz and fashioncreator Wolfgang Joop walk around the city of love, has not happened before on Through the night.

Bill Kaulitz in neuem Werbespot

Bill Kaulitz in neuem Werbespot

What a weird monster rock round!

Singer Bill Kaulitz (21) from "Tokio Hotel" seems to feel comfortable next to the three wildly styled aliens and alt-rocker (not sure here, are they using alt-rocker like "alternative rocker," or like "old rocker?") Alice Cooper, at the counter of a dim space bar. He's clad totally in leather, wears a towering hairstyle and silver chains, and has a blue colored drink in front of him. And we ask ourselves: who here is actually the extraterrestrial?

The photo is part of a new advertising campaign for electronics chain "Saturn" for the coming Christmas business.

Totally after the new campaign motto, "Now it's really rocking!" the young rocker Kaulitz visits the rock legend Cooper in his space bar.

The meeting of the music generations: self-ironic, witty! Cooper and Kaulitz leave no rockstar cliche out of the spots.

Tokio Hotel producer and manager David Jost to BILD.de: "The TV spots and photos for this campaign were produced recently in a film studio in Los Angeles. The aliens and the set were developed and built specially for this ad spot."

Until the end of the year, the singers will advertise additionally to the TV and radio spots on magazine ads, billboards and in the Internet. Exactly one year ago Saturn presented Alice Cooper for the first time as its new advertising face.

Under the new campaign slogan "Now it really rocks!" Saturn will show for their Christmas advertising campaign," Rock" in the truest sense of the word. Because now the rock legend Alice Cooper-Young recieve support from the Rock Star Bill Kaulitz! The Tokio Hotel frontman visited Alice Cooper in his space bar.

During this great meeting of musical generations, Kaulitz and Cooper deliver with a remarkably large amount of self-irony more than only entertaining TV and radio spots, in which it guarantees no rock star cliché will be untouched.

Till the end of the year the singers will promote in the large-scale campaign, in addition to the TV and radio commercials , also print ads, billboards, online and the point of sale for Saturn.

Exactly one year ago, the electronics-company Saturn presented Alice Cooper as a new face for the first time. As a bartender in his space-bar, he expierences with his alien regular guests , in form of three kinds of sympathetic aliens, funny stories. With the Rock Star Bill Kaulitz, lead singer of Germany's internationally most successful rock band, the veteran of Rock has now a colleague of the younger generation by his side. The commercials play mercilessly with stereotypes about the two artists, where the two superstars show a real dose of self-irony, which definitely deserves recognition. In the end, each of these exciting episodes will be solved appropriately with "It's all a question of technology!" And also Saturn promise again"dead-drunk-cheap" prices for christimas.

The 21-year-old Bill Kaulitz became famous with his band Tokio Hotel in 2005 and since then they celebrated impressive international success. The group won an incredible 58 times platinum, 88 times gold and is with a total of 89 national and international awards truely a record.

Among other things, Tokio Hotel won three times the MTV European Music Awards (including Best Band and Best Headliner). Eleven times the coveted comets, Bambi, echoes and on top even the usaly almost unattainable U.S. MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist U.S. At the MTV Latin Awards in South America, Tokio Hotel were even able to take four awards at once at home.

Bill's counterpart in the Saturn campaign is the American rock musician Alice Cooper, who has already been running successfully for saturn in late 2009. The 62-year-old was internationally known in the early seventies with the song "School's Out" His other big hits include among other the song "Poison" from the year 1989.

For the development and implementation of the campaign season is again the agency Scholz & Friends in Berlin responsible. The production was made by Markenfilm Hamburg.

Wolfgang Joop: "Both of us started on our way to become world stars, that needs a lot of discipline and also down-to-earthness. I mean, a big star is mostly very laid-back, whereas a starlet is fidgety."
With all the down-to-earthness you may also dream. Bill Kaulitz has already dared to go on the catwalk in this outfit. With that a collaboration nearly forces on upon them.
Wolfgang Joop: "Well... yeah, he's highly interested in doing fashion design, but I think as regards taste, our tendencies diverge a bit."
So, most probably Bill Kaulitz won't be a new muse for Wolfgang Joop. Bill's emo-look and Wolfgang Joop's clothes are worlds apart after all. Even a non-professional should recognise that.

Bill Kaulitz Makeup Look

Bill Kaulitz, the lead singer of the Tokio Hotel band has a unique style when it comes to makeup and hairstyle. Here is how you can get Bill Kaulitz makeup look.

Bill Kaulitz the German vocalist from Tokio Hotel became world renowned for the bands hit songs as well as his looks. He has a very distinct look, a look which appeals to most teenagers. He became an inspiration for his fans all over the world when it comes to fashion style, hairstyle and make-up.
Makeup used to be a girls best friend but in the modern world of today it is beginning to be used by guys as well.

The makeup look Bill Kaulitz opted for is glam rock inspired. It is a very obvious and powerful makeup which is mostly based on enhancing the eyes.

Bill Kaulitz has beautiful facial features which he knows how to enhance with the help of makeup. The eyeshadow colors he uses for his remarkable makeup is either black or rust.

These two colors really bring out the natural color of his eyes, making him look stunning.

Here is how you can get Bill Kaulitz makeup look:

• Start with a clean exfoliated face.

• Apply moisturizer to hydrate and nourish your skin so it won't become dry and flaky.

• Apply concealer under the eyes to hide any dark circles and over any pimples or blemishes than need coverage.

• Apply a makeup primer over your face as well as your eye

lids so your makeup will set better.

• Apply foundation to obtain a flawless skin and set the foundation with a translucent powder.

• Take a black eyeliner and line your waterline from the inner towards the outer corner of the eye.

• Use a liquid eyeliner, a gel eyeliner or an eyeliner pencil to line your upper lashes as well as your lower lashes. Start by drawing a smooth thinner line from the inner corner of the eye while gradually thickening it as you work your way towards the outer corner.

Take black or rust colored eyeshadow and using a brush apply a generous amount of eyeshadow on your lid following your crease. Apply eyeshadow on your lower lid as well, joining the color at the outer corner of the eyes.

Take a blending brush and blend the edges of the eyeshadow well so you get a faded transition or a smokey eye effect. Make sure you don't go passed your brow bone with the eyeshadow blending.

• Dust a little bit of black eyeshadow over your eyebrows to give them a well defined shape and color. Use an angled brush to fix the shape of your eyebrows or an eyeliner pencil.
• Apply plenty of mascara on your lashes and your eyes will look stunning.
Try to use matte eyeshadow for a better glam rock Bill Kaulitz inspired look.
This type of makeup can be used by girls as well as boys. Girls can go for the shimmering eyeshadow for a more glamorous look.

Tokio Hotel comes despite insecurity

Tokio Hotel comes despite insecurity

With all the international news about insecurity and drug trafficking in Mexico, the German rock band Tokio Hotel does not intended to cancel its visit this upcoming December 2 to Palacio de los Deportes.

"Of course we get the news of what is happening in Mexico, we know the situation the countries where we go live, but that doesn't discourage us at all", said Tom Kaulitz in a phone interview from Berlin.

"Furthermore, the experiences we've had with our Mexican fans have always been good, without mishaps or problems. So we are relaxed and most of all thrilled to play again", added on his part, Bill Kaulitz, vocalist of the band.

According to the music brothers, the only way they could cancel their visit to the country would be through their music label, in case a situation of force majeure happened.

"Only in this case we would not go, but never, in our whole career has that happened. It would have to be something strong that happens in Mexico that would stop us from going, so there is nothing to worry. We will return to your country happy and with lots of energy", said Tom.

The quartet formed by the Kaulitz's brothers, Georg Listing and Gustav Schäfer, have on their shoulders the task of filling the Copper Dome, unlike in 2008, where they participated in a massive concert organized by a radio station at the Azteca Stadium.

"This time we go alone and we go with what we considered the production of our dreams, the biggest and with most quality that we've had. Our mexican fans will be surprised", said Bill

Among the things that the band revealed about the show in December are a piano performance by Tom, for the first time on stage, as well as fireworks and the inclusion of their early songs, like "Übers Ende der Welt" and "Spring Nicht ".

"We will play more of Humanoid, our last album, but we will include songs from our other two albums (Schrei and Zimmer 483). The fans will be pleased with the show, we don't doubt it", remarked Tom.

Tokio Hotel will touch Mexican ground on Thursday December 2nd to present their Humanoid Live Tour 2010 at 8:30 pm at Palacio de los Deportes.
