What they were almost going to be : Tokio Hotel's label
Like Dick Rowe, someone at Sony BMG must have felt really bad.
So much that they have been fired.
In 2004, the group Tokio Hotel (that just chose their name after being
called Devilish) is signed by Sony BMG. The label help them produce
their album but 6 months after being signed, Sony gets scared and thinks
that the group won't work out (Yeah, except for the Germans, who
listens to German music ?) and cancels the contract right before the
album comes out.
Universal retrieves Bill Kaulitz's band, aka , the goldmine !
