Akzent? Kandidatin Laura Kleinas (17) hat es Bill von Tokio Hotel am
Samstag ganz schön angetan. Obwohl Lauras Gruppe bei „Deutschland sucht den Superstar“
(4,25 Millionen Zuschauer) kläglich versagte, durfte die Sängerin noch
einmal auftreten – und bekam von Bill (23) den Recall-Zettel für die
Malediven.
Dabei sah es für die süße Laura am Anfang gar nicht so gut aus. Die Performance ihrer Gruppe ging gründlich schief. Keiner konnte den Text. Favoritin Laura sang nur „Na, na, na“.
Die Jury ist schockiert. Dieter Bohlen (58) bricht den Vortrag mittendrin ab!
Vor allem das lässige Verhalten von Laura sorgt beim Chef-Juror für Kopfschütteln. „Was mich verzweifeln lässt ist, dass ihr das egal ist“, wettert der Poptitan.
Dann die Überraschung: Während Juror Bill Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel) den anderen das Aus verkündet, darf Laura nochmal singen und läuft zur Höchstform auf.
Bandkollegin Agustina macht ihrem Ärger noch auf der Bühne Luft: „Ich finde es unfair, die ganze Gruppe zusammen hat versagt“, regt sich die Nachwuchssängerin auf. Schließlich verpetzt sie Laura sogar bei der Jury: „Sie hat von Anfang an gesagt, sie mag das Lied nicht und hat sich hier aufgeführt.“ Hinter den Kulissen bricht Augustina in Tränen aus.
Aber Bill Kaulitz lässt sich davon nicht beeindrucken. Als Laura singt, strahlt der Musiker übers ganze Gesicht. Dieter Bohlen fällt das sofort auf. „Verliebt, oder was?“, fragt er den Sänger. „Ach Quatsch“, wiegelt der ab.
Aber bis zum Finale kann ja noch viel passieren...

Was it because of her fawn brown eyes or her sweet french accent? Contestant Laura Kleinas (17) enchanted Bill from Tokio Hotel on Saturday. Although Laura’s group failed at “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (4,25 million viewers), the singer got a 2nd chance to perform again and received a recall paper from Bill (23).
Right from the beginning it didn’t look good for the sweet Laura. The performance of her group totally failed. Nobody knew the text. The favorite Laura only sang “Na na na”.
The jury is shocked. Dieter Bohlen (58) interrupted the performance before they could finish.
Especially her casual attitude made Dieter Bohlen shake his head in disapproval. “I become desperate because it seems like she doesn’t care”, rants Dieter.
Then the surprise: While judge Bill Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel) announces that the others didn’t make it through, Laura gets a 2nd chance and is at her best.
Her group colleague Agustina gives vent to her anger on stage: “I think it’s unfair because the whole group failed”, states the singer annoyed. Suddenly she even rats on Sarah: “Right from the beginning she already said she doesn’t like the song.” Backstage Agustina broke out in tears.
But that doesn’t impress Bill Kaulitz. While Laura sings the singer smiles from ear to ear. Dieter Bohlen immediately notices. “Fell in love or what?” he asks the singer. “Bullshit” he answers.
But until the final a lot can happen..

In Germany is running the tenth season of the popular music format Music Idol. As like before BRAVO is reporting, Bill and Tom from Tokio Hotel, along with the rapper Mateo (34) and Diter Bohlen (58) are in the jury of the talent machine. And here is what they share in exclusive interview for BRAVO...BRAVO: Why you accept becoming part of the jury?
Bill: It's fun! But we have more commitments, than we expected! (laughs)
BRAVO: The pressure is high?
Tom: The biggest challenge for us is actually the working time. We have to get up at 6 am every day! Usually I went to bed at that time...
Bill: It's hard, when you have to make the decision who to support. I always tought, that they're good, or not. But it turned out that all of them are an average level, what can you say for people, who are doing well, but just can't move forward?
Tom: We're searching for singers with unique voices, or people, who have the potential to develop. We encourage those who are on average level, to continue engage in singing as a hobby. But nothing more.
BRAVO: Do you have a problem with saying your thoughts openly?
Bill: No.
Tom: (laughs and turns to Bill.) Actually, yes! Everytime it gets hasty you say: "You're really sweet or really sympathetic." That's because you see how their tears are falling down.
Bill: It's hard! They have the right to know, that it's not gonna work out. We're not letting anyone move forward because of regret!
BRAVO: Did it was from the very beginning clear that both of you are going to be jurors?
Tom: At first, they invited only me, but they I stated: "Without Bill I'll not participate!"
Bill: (laughs) Nonsense! They invited both of us, and that's more interesting for us too!
BRAVO: Is there anyting in the show that you want to change?
Tom: We intend to help candidates and behind the camera. They often need styling advices or help in choosing the right song. We want to present them perfectly, not to made fun of them!

Fashion-Alarm at DSDS! In the ten year history of DSDS, no other jury-members have been as stylish as Bill and Tom Kaulitz (both 23) from Tokio Hotel. Bill surprised the viewers of this season with 5 (!) outfit changes during the first episode – one more spectacular than the other! Bravo met up with the twins for a little stlye-Talk…

•By now, both of you are fashion icons. Is a candidates style therefore imporant to you?
Bill: For me it’s important that they’re authentic. A lot of people wear crazy stuff, but more often than not it only looks like they’re disguising themselves.
Tom: Yup, if they dress “boring” every day, they should continue doing so. There’s no point in dressing up and not being comfortable with what you’re wearing, thus screwing up your performance.
Bill: One candidate, for example, came to the casting in a simple white shirt, jeans and sneakers – and he was great! I would never tell him: Go and put on a leather jacket with metal studs or try on the new collection of Givenchy. That’s ridiculous.
• So candidates can’t make up for their weak/bad voice with their styling?
Tom: Both things play a role in our decision making process. If a candidate doesn’t sing that great, but has an awesome stage presence, is charismatic and has an awesome style, I would let him advance onto the next round. I would rather let such a person go on to the next round, than someone who might have a better voice but where you can immediately see: You can’t put him on stage because he’s missing the stage presence and the fire.
• How do you find the right casting stlye for yourself?
Bill: You should be spontaneous: What do I feel comfortable with and in which clothes do I look best? I always get up in the morning and dress how I want to. I never think about what I’m going to do or what I have planned that day. And then, suddenly, I’m sitting behind the jury-table for ten hours, under the warm spotlights – bundled up in a thick sweater (laughs).
• What do you like wearing most right now?
Bill: Colors! In the past I wore a lot of black. But I’m not one for following fashion trends and I don’t look at what others wear all the time. What’s an absolute no-go are the slippers that Mateo always wears! (laughs) I would never wear something like that. Just like shorts.
Tom: Those are also not my thing, even if I have very voluptuous/erotic legs…(laughs) Otherwise, I really like wearing sweaters.
Bill: Did you notice that Tom’s style really changed?
• That’s true – what happened?
Bill: Tom slowly catches up with what I was born with! (laughs) He learned this from me.
Tom: You must be joking! I always liked wearing cloths in the pocket of my pants, and now you’re doig the exact same thing…
Bill: By now, Tom just raids my closet and steals things like sunglasses, for example, or jackets.
Tom: It was one jacket! And I had to cut off the sleeves. You should know: Bill’s closet is like a massive, smelly Second-Hand-Shop. Finding a nice jacket was really hard!
Bill: (laughs) But your pants have definitely gotten tighter!
Tom: That’s just because my ass got bigger…(laughs)
